Laurent Ferrier Launches Limited Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit

Among enthusiasts of independent watchmaking, Laurent Ferrier has quite a reputation. Its minimalist design language and sector-style dial with bold subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock is highly sought after. These characteristics work perfectly well with the boutique brand’s idea of a sports watch whose sleek dynamic lines are inspired by vintage motor racing cars. The lates example is the new Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit that hits the road in an ultra light titanium grade 5 round case adorned with a cushion shaped bezel.

The salmon-pink gradient dial pairs beautifully with the matte finishing of the 44mm case, which is water resistant to 100 meters. It displays small seconds at 6 o’clock alongside Laurent Ferrier’s signature extended drop-shaped hour markers and “Assegai” hands, both coated with luminous material.

The one-minute tourbillon dubbed in the name can be admired on the reverse side of the case. Its cage takes center stage within the architecture of the genuine manually wound LF619.01 caliber equipped with a double balance spring. Beating at 3Hz, the chronometer certified movement boasts a power reserve of 80 hours and displays magnificent decorations, such as brushed ruthenium-coated bridges and meticulously bevelled angles.

Only 15 examples of the Laurent Ferrier Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit will be produced annually. Price is available upon request.
