OPINION - Tory sleaze is a gift to Labour: Zahawi needs to go

When Rishi Sunak stood on the steps of Downing Street, he looked shiny and new compared to what had gone before, especially his vow to bring “integrity and accountability” as prime minister. Yet here we are three months in and, to coin a phrase, nothing has changed. It feels like we’re back in the thick of Boris Johnson’s era of bad behaviour, cover-up and watching lacklustre ministers slither round the breakfast media round humiliating themselves.
