Sponsored research revenue at the University of Dayton was $221.3 million in fiscal year 2022.
96.4 percent of research was performed for federal agencies DOD, DOE, EPA, NASA, etc.
3.6 percent was performed for state & local governments, business and industry, other universities and foundations.
95.2 percent of research was performed within the Research Institute
4.8 percent was performed in academic departments
Approximately 178 graduate and undergrad students were engaged in sponsored research.
