Body Coach Joe Wicks shows off body transformation after ‘eating cakes and biscuits every day’
JOE Wicks shocked fans by revealing his rippling six-pack had gone – after getting hooked on biscuits and bacon sarnies.
But it didn’t take the Body Coach star, a fitness guru to millions of Brits during lockdown, long to snap back into shape.
Last March, Joe explained he’s been eating cakes on a daily basis – plus three bacon sandwiches for breakfast.
He told fans on Instagram: “I’ve been eating chocolate cakes and biscuits every day.
“Three bacon sandwiches for breakfast, hash browns and beans. It’s not very good when I’m the Body Coach, is it?”
Joe took a picture from the side showing the fuller tummy where there was once a set of abs.
The star, 37, was dubbed “the nation’s PE teacher” during lockdown where his daily YouTube workouts were a lifeline to housebound Brits.
However, he has quickly proved that he can get into incredible shape in a matter of months.
He posted a selfie with his six-pack back as he posed in the bedroom in just a pair of boxer shorts last month.
Joe told his followers he’d been laying off the cakes, writing: “Waking up leaner today because of the food choices I made yesterday.”
He added: “Training alone isn’t enough so this weekend focus on your food choices.
“Every day you make healthier choices and eat sensible portion sizes you are giving your body a chance to tap into stored body fat.”
He also posted several videos of his super-charged workouts – proving the belly of the previous year was long-gone.
And he showed how he can hold his adorable daughter Leni standing up in one hand with no trouble.
Joe and his wife Rosie welcomed their third child in September – a sister for daughters Indie, four, and Marley, three.
His fitness business has proved a runaway success, with 11 best-selling books and 4.5million Instagram followers.
But he said he’s better known for his family posts these days telling The Sun: “People just don’t see me as a sex symbol any more.
“In the early days, when I was single, I did the topless covers for health and fitness magazines. People used to leave cheeky comments on my Instagram.
“I’d get that whole, ‘Ooooh, you’re single, I’d love to marry you’ kind of stuff. Now I’m more known for my parenting.”
