[Men's Track & Field] SXU Men's Track & Field Places Fourth at CCAC Championships

Davenport, Iowa –The Saint Xavier University men's track & field team finished in fourth place, its second-best finish in any meet in program history, and scored 71 points, the second-most in any meet in program history at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Indoor Championships this weekend in Davenport, Iowa. Sophomore Ayobami Arokoyo (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) just missed the medal stand with a fourth-place finish in the Shot Put with a throw of 15.83m that earned SXU five points, however he hit the NAIA 'A' Standard, set the program record and qualified for the NAIA Indoor National Championships that take place from March 2-4 in Brookings, S.D.
