Ron Clarkson

Sadly, we have to say goodbye to another Wharfedale stalwart, who was ever present at The Avenue with his faithful Sheepdog pal Millie.

In his last few days, he had a surprise visit and was photographed with new England Cricket star Harry Brook. Ron mentored Harry in his formative years at Burley Cricket Club, and predicted he would eventually star for England.

Our condolences are with his wife Barbara, his family, and friends.…
