BGT child star looks unrecognisable as she reunites with Ant, Dec and Amanda Holden 16 years after show
BRITAIN’S Got Talent child star Connie Talbot looked unrecognisable as she reunited with Ant McPartlin, Declan Donnelly and Amanda Holden 16 years after the show.
The singer shot to fame aged six when she took part in the first series of the ITV competition in 2007.
Connie, 22, impressed judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda with her rendition of Judy Garland’s Over The Rainbow.
She placed second in the show, just behind winner Paul Potts.
Earlier today Connie made an appearance on Heart Breakfast alongside Ant and Dec.
Hosts Amanda and Jamie Theakston made the Geordie duo try and guess who was in the studio while they had eye masks on.
Dec asked Connie: “Have we been on telly together?”
Ant added: “Were you a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent?”
Amanda then gave them both a very big clue: “This person now has front teeth.”
Dec gasped and said: “So you were a young singer… are you Connie Talbot?!”
Ant asked if she is still performing.
Connie replied: “I’m good, really really good.
“I am, I’m an independent artist now and doing new music, got an EP coming up in April.”
Connie released her debut album Over the Rainbow shortly after her stint on Britain’s Got Talent.
Connie Talbot’s Christmas Album, Holiday Magic and Beautiful World shortly followed.
Then in 2016 she released her studio album Matters to Me.
In 2019 she took part in Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions and America’s Got Talent: The Champions the following year.
The singer boasts 296k followers on Instagram and loves to post about her music on her profile.
