Jets' Cole Perfetti (upper body) out eight weeks

Winnipeg Jets forward Cole Perfetti is expected to be sidelined at least eight weeks due to an upper-body injury, coach Rick Bowness announced Friday.

Perfetti, 21, sustained the injury in the Jets' 4-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Sunday. He was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday.

Per Bowness, Perfetti's injury is not related to the one he sustained to his shoulder that caused him to miss time last season.
