Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has maintained that if there is an offence, there will be clampdown. Sarma said no one would use uncivilised language in political discourse hereafter. On FIR against Khera, the BJP CM said that the state police would take the matter to its logical end. He, however, did not elaborate on the next course of action by the Assam Police.
