As standard a standard issue Sydney summer forecast as you can get: Partly cloudy, with light winds becoming northeasterly 15-20 kts in the afternoon with a 1 to 1.5m 8-second ENE wind swell and going to a high of 27. And, as the pictures show, there were a few waist plusses to be had around the place. I’d start looking at your regular because the swell’s pretty much getting in to most places.
Tide’s just coming off the low at 0705 and will be back to the 1.45m high at 1310 – by which time the wind will be limiting options. Water is clean and on 25 still, so it’s almost tropical in that respect.
It looks as though we can expect something in the surfable range tomorrow and likely through to midweek. So nothing special, but you should be able to talk yourself into getting wet.
Have a great Saturday everyone!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is slowly moving east, maintaining fresh southeast to northeasterly winds along the New South Wales coast. Northeasterly winds are expected to strengthen today ahead of a trough which will bring a southerly change to the southern half of the state on Sunday.
