[Softball] Koran & Natanek Lead No. 25 SXU Softball in Sweep of Taylor

Upland, Ind. – Junior infielder Brooke Koran (Romeoville, Ill./Plainfield East) finished the day 3-for-5 at the plate with three RBI, two walks and a double, while freshman catcher Morgan Natanek (Palos Heights, Ill./Stagg) went 3-for-6 at the dish with three RBI, two runs scored, a walk and she belted her first collegiate home run in game two to help the No. 25 ranked Saint Xavier University softball team (7-3/0-0 CCAC) to a pair of victories over Taylor University (Ind.) in non-conference action Saturday afternoon in Upland, Ind. Koran & Natanek combined to drive in four of the team's 12 runs in a 12-3 win in six innings in game one and Koran doubled to help give sophomore pitcher Julianne Claas (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Hamilton) her second win of the season a 6-2 triumph in game two to complete the sweep.
