Already eight Division One head coaching jobs have opened up. Six out of the eight are currently being coached by an interim coach. The other two are Notre Dame and New Mexico State.
Notre Dame hc Brey announced that he is stepping down at the end of the season.
NMSU is going thru a lot of turmoil right now, their program has been shut down for the rest of the season. One of their players shot and killed a University of New Mexico student at the University of New Mexico campus, also, there were allegations of players being hazed. The NMSU hc has been fired.
