2023 Le Mans 24 Hours Entry: Who’s Confirmed So Far?

Tomorrow sees the publication of the entry list for the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours with 62 places on the grid for the centenary edition of the race available.

The vast majority of the entry though are already known with the full-season entries for the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship set to be joined by 12 Automatic invitees and the near certainty of the addition of the NASCAR Garage 56 Camaro.

The list below shows all 52 cars that have at least a degree of certainty but even there there are some unknowns:

Amongst the WEC entrants confirmation is awaited from the two incoming privateer Porsche Hypercar teams that they will race at Le Mans with their new 963s due for delivery in April.

Hertz Team Jota look set to join the Championship as soon as possible but Proton Competition may delay their programme due to a variety of concerns over testing and other matters.

Prema Racing are known to have opted not to take up their Automatic Invitation in LMP2 for winning the ELMS Championship and will race just their full-season WEC pair.

That should leave 11 or 12 available slots to be filled by the ACO’s Selection Committee with an array of other entries including additional Hypercar entry requests from at least Cadillac, Glickenhaus and ByKolles/ Vanwall , and from LMP2 and GTE squads from the ELMS, Asian LMS and IMSA.
