I’m a female bricklayer – I do my job in denim shorts and boots but people are concerned about my hair
A BRICKLAYER has revealed the comments and concerns she receives when out on the job.
She revealed that she works hard in denim and boots, but people can’t seem to stop talking about her hair.
The blue collar beauty shared that her job isn’t for the weak.
Darcie Richards (@rattlekings) took to TikTok to display her admirable work ethic.
The blonde beauty showed herself working hard in denim shorts, a white T-shirt, and lace-up boots.
The video came as part of a trend where women are showing themselves working in stereotypically male-dominated fields.
Hard working ladies are shattering stereotypes, showing their lives as farmers, mechanics, and other labor-intensive fields.
The petite bricklayer showed herself stepping up on crates to layer even higher.
“Short girl problems,” she added in the caption.
Viewers, however, were more concerned with her hair than her height.
“I’ve never wanted to put someones hair in a ponytail so bad in my life,” one wrote in the comment section.
“How do you stop your hair getting covered do you usually tie it back?” another asked.
“Yes its usually tied back in a bun,” Darcie replied.
Others lauded Darcie for being a woman taking on a difficult job description.
“So nice to see a woman bricklayer,” one female fan wrote.
“Great job from one bricklayer to another,” another added.
