Love Island fans accuse producers of ‘cutting’ scenes after seeing ‘real’ side of islander
LOVE Island fans have accused producers of deliberately ‘cutting’ scenes from the main show.
Viewers of Saturday’s installment of Love Island: Unseen Bits couldn’t help but notice that Lana Jenkins is coming across differently.
The audience keenly tuned into the weekly special edition of the reality TV programme to see the antics of the islanders.
25-year-old Lana Jenkins was heavily featured on the programme and her fans saw a different side of the make-up artist.
Following the hilarious scenes airing on ITV2, viewers took to twitter in their droves to complain.
They felt that producers have been deliberately giving Lana, who’s currently in a relationship with Ron Hall, 25, an edit that doesn’t reflect her personality after seeing her ‘real’ side on the compilation edition.
One fan wrote: “These producers are hiding the real Lana and her personality to us.”
Another said: “Lana is so much better on unseen bits.”
A third commented: “Lana is hilarious and it’s an actual crime we don’t see that in the main show.”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “Lana is so hilarious and it’s a shame we don’t really see a fun side of her on the main show.”
A fifth exclaimed: “Lana has a personality it’s literally being hidden. They need to incorporate more natural funny moments on the main show instead of the scripted.”
Whilst a sixth wrote: “Ya producers r really doing lana dirty on the main show.
A seventh viewer asked: “Why don’t they show more of this Lana on the main show?”
Fans also think that other Islanders such as Casey O’Gorman, 26, may have also fallen victim to the cutting room floor.
Another viewer wrote: “Casey is always hilarious on the unseen bits, if they showed this side of him during the week he’d be more liked by the general audience I think.”
