Mayor Adams makes controversial church and state comments

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Mayor Eric Adams is facing backlash for comments he made at an interfaith breakfast last week.

He called into question the separation of church and state, even going as far as connecting a lack of prayer in schools to gun violence.
