Car belonging to woman, 20, who went missing with two pals is still at nightclub where they were last seen, sister says
A CAR belonging to a woman who went missing with two pals is still at the nightclub they were last seen, according to her sister.
Eve Smith, Sophie Russon and Darcy Ross, all 20, have not been seen since enjoying a night out at the Muffler nightclub in Newport, Wales on Friday.
Friends believe the 20-year-olds all headed to Trecco Bay in Porthcawl with two men who are also understood to be missing.
It’s seen cops launching a desperate search for the trio who have all been missing for more than 36 hours.
And Eve’s sister Lauren Doyle claims that her car is still at the venue.
In a social media post, Lauren wrote: “It is known that they went to the Muffler in Maesglas and then went to Trecco Bay on Friday night but left there to an unknown location during the night.
“They were last seen at approximately 2am.
“None of them have made contact with friends or family, which is very unusual. We are all worried sick and thinking the worst.”
The women’s worried families say none of them have been active on social media since their disappearance.
They have shared photos online and appealed for information, saying that it is out of character for them to go off the radar.
The three women were believed to have met up two men on their night out who are also missing.
The pair were named by The Mirror as Refel Jeanne and Shane Loughlin.
A relative of Shane’s has also said that he is missing and that the family are working with detectives to find him.
A Gwent Police spokesperson confirmed that they were investigating the disappearances.
A spokesperson for Trecco Bay Holiday Park said: “We are aware of reports of five missing people.
“None of these people were registered guests at the park, however we are assisting police with their enquiries.”
