I’m pregnant & my baby’s above the 99th percentile – I feel like there’s a whale inside me… I’m sure I’ll need stitches
A MUM-TO-BE who’s approaching the end of her pregnancy has revealed the downsides of carrying a baby who’s in the 99th percentile.
Sandra took to her TikTok page to share a “pregnancy and bump update”, as she lip-synced along to someone saying: “I am now ‘Get this f**king baby out of me’ weeks along.
“The baby is the size of a f**king whale and what sounds like at least five painful stitches.”
She concluded by stating: “My main symptom is b**ch.”
Sandra, who is actually 37 weeks pregnant, added in her caption: “That’s on having a baby above the 99th percentile.
“Embracing the pregnancy, body stretch marks and all! But LORD I’M TIRED.
“I’ve tried everything to get this baby out but he’s a little too comfy.”
People took to the comments to weigh in, with many remarks coming from other mothers.
“I did this as a joke at 34 weeks, I thought five stitches sounded painful until I ended up with 14,” one wrote.
“I had 5 stitches with my 1st and she was 5’5. Had no stitches with my second and she was 7’2,” another added.
“January 11th I had an 11lb 5oz baby. I feeeeel you momma!” a third commented.
“Lol my son was 10.2 and now he’s 4 4’5 and 50 pounds,” someone else wrote.
“I had 15 internal stitches with my first,” another added.
“37 weeks. With my 4th. Never doing this again. I’m miserable,” someone else commented.
While another wrote: “I’m measuring 97th percentile! Hang on in there, we’ve got this!!”
