The Telegraph has revealed that Spurs are holding talks with Haringey Council regarding a special license to hold the additional sold-out Beyonce concert at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The report states that Spurs have a license to stage up to 16 non-football events at the club’s stadium a year, out of which six can be musical events.

However, the extra date, announced by Beyonce on Feb 7 means the club are now due to host seven concerts in 2023.
It is explained that Tottenham’s decision to go ahead with an extra date for the American singer and sell expensive tickets for it, may not have sat too well with members of the Haringey Council.
The general admission tickets for the concert have reportedly been sold out, with the remaining premium packages costing over £350 per person.
The Telegraph reveal that Spurs declined to comment on the situation and will now meet with the council to discuss obtaining an extra licence.

If the council do not grant the required permission for this concert, it might be an embarrassing situation for Tottenham, now that they have sold all the tickets.
Perhaps, the club are confident that they will be given a special license on this occasion.
