Haters say I’m lucky I don’t get dress-coded by HR for my ‘clubbing’ outfit but I’m a ‘corporate baddie’
WHILE some jobs have strict guidelines about what employees can and can’t wear, others seem to be more relaxed with their dress codes.
One woman shocked viewers when she revealed her usual office attire.
The Arizona local posted a video to her TikTok during her Tuesday lunch break, and viewers were begging to know where she worked.
Jay Alexa (@jay.alexaa) sat in a Starbucks enjoying her sandwich, writing: “Corporate baddie forgot her lunch again, but this time she remembered her Starbucks gift card in her desk.”
Although the point of the clip was to offer an inside look into her day, most TikTokers were too focused on her outfit to notice anything else.
She wore a sheer, translucent black blouse that was low cut and tight around her stomach.
And her black pants didn’t fall like usual work trousers.
Instead, they hugged her hips, butt, and thighs snuggly so that her curves were on display.
With her long black mane ironed and flowing, and her makeup done to the nines, she looked ready to hit the club.
The outfit seemed standard for Jay, who ate her chips while looking unbothered.
Viewers, however, just couldn’t get past it.
“Omg you’re so lucky you don’t get written up for your outfit. I always did lol,” one person commented.
“What corporate is letting you wear clubbing outfits?” another wondered.
“Uhhh I wanna work where you work. We get written up for skinny or ankle slacks,” a third added.
Still, others thought it was a perfectly normal choice.
“I must know nothing about corporate jobs because I was like, ‘Aw she looks so beautiful, goals,’” one woman said.
“She looks put together and is probably amazing at her job. Hating isn’t cute ladies,” another one noted.
