White Patio House

White Patio House is a minimal residence located in London, United Kingdom, designed by Pashenko Works. The building’s central atrium serves as the focal point, allowing natural light to penetrate the interior and lessen the need for artificial lighting. This feature also helps to warm the house during the cooler months via solar gains. During summer months, the windows located at the top of the atrium facilitate natural cross-ventilation, negating the necessity for air conditioning. The garden’s vertical surfaces are utilized for cultivating climbers, essentially extending the garden’s horizontal plane.
