Savvy mum saves £162 & buys all of her kids’ school uniforms from her local supermarket as they slash prices to £1
A SAVVY mum has encouraged fellow parents to rush out to their local Asda store after she bagged bargain uniforms for her four kids.
The parent shared how she saved an eye-watering £162, as the supermarket had slashed the amount of their clothes, with prices starting at just £1.
Posting a photo of her haul that she nabbed from the sale rails, it was clear she’d got lots for her money – including trousers and dresses.
The woman, who revealed she’d also bought pinafores and skirts, then explained: “RUN don’t walk!!!
“All NAVY uniforms. £1.00 each!!! (Most are 2 packs).”
She continued on Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group: “Best £22.00 I’ve ever spent. Should have been £184.00.
“That’s 4 kids half sorted for September. Buzzing about this like.”
The mum, who spotted the bargains in her Asda store in Swindon, then quipped: “Always plan ahead when you have your own football team.”
And fellow social media users couldn’t believe their eyes, as they said that she’d got an absolute steal.
One person wrote: “Absolutely brilliant.
“School uniforms are so expensive. What a fab collection.”
A second was in agreement, as they added: “I wonder if ours will do this wicked sale.”
While a third typed: “This is mint.”
Meanwhile, countless others tagged friends and family to spread the word about the amazing savings on offer.
One wrote: “If anyone goes in there and they are cheap, can you grab me some please.”
Someone else said: “Get stocked up.”
A third wrote: “Worth having a wee look for next year.”
This comes after a mum-to-be also shared how she’d got an adorable haul in the Asda kids’ sale ahead of welcoming her daughter.
Once again, she uploaded a photo of a pretty floral romper to the same social media group.
She then said: “Asda are scanning a lot of the baby winter items for less than the reduced label.
“I got this coat for £1!!”
But she went one step further, as she started counting down the days until she meets her new arrival.
She later added: “I went back and got some more! All scanned at £1!
“I’m not due until June so had so much I could get her in all sizes.”
