SPORTING LISBON – MATCH DAY BLOG
How has your week been?
MINE HAS BEEN DELICIOUS.
Saturday, Arsenal win.
Saturday night, STL CITY sc win.
Sunday, Yooonited get SPANKED.
Wednesday, Spurs get dropped from the Champions League.
hahahahah…
The man they said was too big a winner to join The Arsenal has had his season ended by an Olivier Giroud goal. STUNNING. No trophies for Trophy Boy Conte.
Christian Romero, a player the twitter nerds said was better than Ben White, was sent off for a ridiculous challenge late on to really cap a shitty day in Europe for them.
Oh, man, it feels so good to be right on Antonio Conte after taking so much flak from our own fanbase and being enemy #1 for their fans on twitter to the extent that my Spurs pals would ask if I was ok.
Ok?
I AM FLYING, FAM.
I’ve spent about 9 hours watching Spurs Youtube.
How could so many people be fooled into the legend of Antonio Conte. His recipe for success is very simple. He needs a massive advantage on everyone else. Usually money. Sorry, always money. He won most of his trophies at Juve, who were cheating. He won a league for Inter after putting them in the shit financially, when he wasn’t given more money, he bounced before they dipped. Then he chose Spurs after every other Premier League club passed on him.
How was he matched to the football Spurs fans wanted?
How were his tastes for mega spending matched to Daniel Levy?
How did anyone think his bland one-dimensional football was going to succeed against more dynamic coaches?
Who cares. The beauty of the internet is there is a trail of shame all over it. It’s stunning to read.
Kululevski has two goals this season.
Son has dropped off a cliff.
Kane hasn’t signed a new deal.
Perisic looks old.
Djed Spence hasn’t started a game since he smoked that cigar last season.
Richarlison, who has never scored more than 13 PL goals, has scored zero, and he’s bitching in the media about the manager. Better than Jesus? Get in the bin.
Who would you have out of their squad? Not a single player.
Arsenal take on Sporting Lisbon this evening. What a great place to play a game of football, I absolutely love the city. I’m not sure what to expect from the team bar a really hard game.
No Tierney, Trossard, or Eddie.
Kiwior slips into central defence with Gabriel dropping to the bench. It’s out best two fullbacks. Jorginho pairs up with Granit in midfield. I mean, it’s a really good team.
I’m VERY happy to see Nelson get his flowers, hopefully he can keep Saka benched today.
Escape with a draw or better and we’re cooking.
Ok, short one, get into the mixer, see you a bit later! x
