I’m a triplet & was separated from my sisters – people say we ‘need a Lifetime movie’ after my discovery about our dad
A WOMAN’s world was turned upside down after she discovered that she was actually a triplet who had been separated from her sisters at birth.
She called her life a “tale of star-crossed triplets,” and captivated viewers say she deserves her own Lifetime movie.
In a TikTok video, Rikki Jump (@Rikkijump) shared the details of how everything unraveled.
Born a triplet, Rikki was the only sister who was raised by her birth mom – the other two were adopted by another family.
While Rikki was always aware of their existence, the sisters didn’t know about her – they just assumed they were twins.
That all changed when they turned six.
Desperately lonely and with a father who was becoming very sick, Rikki began writing them letters.
Although the other girls’ parents didn’t want them to meet Rikki, they were ok with the letters – so the triplets became pen pals.
The craziest part? They only lived 30 minutes away from each other, and Rikki had even been mistaken for one of them in the past.
When Rikki turned 10, however, her father passed away and her mother packed them up to move to a different state.
Nervous about the change, Rikki again begged her sisters’ parents if she could meet them.
And this time, they said yes.
At 11 years old, the sisters were finally reunited and realized they were all extremely similar – proving that nature holds power over nurture.
Two years later and while living in a new state, Rikki’s mother dropped another bomb on her: The father she grew up with wasn’t actually her biological father. She had used a sperm donor for the triplets.
Because Rikki is nothing like her mother, this new information made her desperate to meet her real dad to find a connection.
As the years went by, she never met her father but continued to build a relationship with her sisters.
Last month, however, things took a turn.
After going down what she called, “a crazy wormhole” via AncestryDNA, she found the identity of the anonymous sperm donor and introduced herself to him.
Viewers were mind-blown by the twists and turns of her story.
“Who separates triplets?” one person commented.
“WOW! I can’t imagine having a child that had siblings, let alone one of triplets, and not letting them see each other,” added a second.
“This is a lot,” a third chimed in.
Others thought her life had the makings of a binge-worthy drama.
“Lifetime TV, we need this in production by Friday. K, thanks,” one person wrote.
“SELL ME THE RIGHTS,” begged another.
