Panel denies appeal
of fence replacement
The town Design Review Board has denied an appeal challenging a fencing plan at 163 Avenida Miraflores.
The property owner wants to replace about 60 feet of spiked wrought-iron fence and raise the fence height. The town planning staff approved the project in October. A pair of neighbors appealed, saying the fence will block their views, among other objections.
The board held a hearing on March 2 and approved the project with conditions on the fence design, said Samantha Bonifacio, a town planner.
