[Men's Wrestling] Pisarchuk Pins His Way into the Round of 16 at Nationals

Junior standout wrestler Talon Pisarchuk (JR/Bensalem, PA) scored two first period pins during the morning session at the 2023 National Collegiate Wrestling Association's 2023 National Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He next takes on Terrence Mills from Allen University for the right to advance to the quarterfinal round.

Four other Williamson wrestlers qualified for nationals and are still alive.  Senior Daniel Tommarelli (SR/Springfield, PA) won via pin in his first-round match before getting pinned in the second round.  Fellow senior Ainsley Doyle (SR/Wilmington, DE) got pinned in his first match, while junior Chase Whartnaby (JR/Chichester, PA) lost via decision, 20-4.  Freshman Michael Kling (FR/New Castle, DE) lost by a score of 14-3.  All four wrestlers will get a chance to extend their stay later tonight.
