Dragons’ Den legend leaves co-stars shrieking as he falls to the ground in middle of guest’s pitch
A DRAGONS’ Den legend left his co-stars shrieking after he fell to the ground in the middle of a guest’s pitch.
The BBC One business programme aired its latest episode on Thursday night.
As one entrepreneur entered the den to pitch their business to the dragons, things got interesting.
Clearly a football fan, Touker Suleyman grabbed the attention of viewers as he left his seat to kick a ball.
While trying to show his skills off, the 69-year-old asked his fellow dragon Peter Jones to try and score a goal.
It led to Peter asking Touker if he was able to, which the business tycoon attempted.
Succeeding in scoring, he also knocked over a painting that was sitting on an easel.
But Touker’s luck ran out when he tried to kick the football again and slammed into the floor.
He fell on his bum and his feet could be seen in the air which left the rest of the dragons in fits of laughter.
Deborah Meaden could be heard saying: “How does that happen?”
Fans at home also found Touker’s antics hilarious as one commented: “Touker on his a*** and not for the first time.”
“Oh dear Touker, so funny,” said a second.
A third remarked: “Touker Sillyman.”
Suleyman was born on August 4, 1953, in Famagusta.
He was born into a Turkish-Cypriot family who moved to England in 1958 and attended school in Peckham, south London.
He is a multi-millionaire entrepreneur specialising in fashion.
Dragons’ Den airs Thursdays at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
