When asked about the potential for a seventh movie at the "Scream 6" premiere, directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett told Deadline that they want to continue the franchise.

Is there a 'Scream' TV show?

The popularity of the "Scream" film series also spawned a TV show on MTV and VH1. The "Scream" anthology series ran for three seasons from 2015 to 2019. Though it's inspired by the film franchise and does feature a Ghostface killer in season three, the show has no direct connection to the movies.
