Miley Cyrus' Albums Ranked from Worst to Best (& 'Endless Summer Vacation' is Already a Critical Hit!)
It’s hard to think of many other modern pop stars who transform and evolve as much as Miley Cyrus does every time she drops an album.
The 30-year-old “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker has consistently shifted her sound and overall aesthetic since emerging as a solo artist with 2007′s Meet Miley Cyrus.
Notably, she declared that she could not be tamed as she grew up in the public eye on 2010′s Can’t Be Tamed, threw the rule book out the window and twerked on it with 2013′s Bangerz and took a detour into her version of Americana on 2017′s Younger Now.
She’s evolving yet again with the release of her new album Endless Summer Vacation, which was preceded by her longest-running chart-topper on the Billboard Hot 100 – “Flowers.”
She’s done it all, but which of Miley‘s albums is her best?
In celebration of the release of Endless Summer Vacation, we decided to take a look at how all of her albums have performed on Metacritic, which is a site that compiles reviews from across the world.
Here’s how their ranking system works: “Creating our proprietary Metascores is a complicated process. We carefully curate a large group of the world’s most respected critics, assign scores to their reviews, and apply a weighted average to summarize the range of their opinions. The result is a single number that captures the essence of critical opinion in one Metascore.”
