Gauhati HC overturns murder conviction to seven-year RI

The Gauhati HC has overturned a murder conviction by a lower court to that of culpable homicide not amounting to murder saying "there was no premeditation on the part of the accused while causing the death of the deceased by stabbing on his neck".
