HC convicts lawyer for calling judge ‘Bhasmasur’

Gauhati High Court has convicted a lawyer for contempt for his comments on the jewellery of a judge of a subordinate court and for demeaning her by comparing her to a “mythical character” of a demon called Bhasmasur.
