Texas executes two mentally impaired death row inmates, temporarily spares a third

Texas has sent five condemned prisoners to their deaths so far in 2023, including two mentally impaired men over the past week. A judge granted a severely mentally disturbed death row inmate a temporary reprieve to prove his mental competency.
