Man armed with knife in East Portland brought into custody

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Portland Police Bureau brought a wanted man armed with a knife into custody Friday night after searching for him in East Portland.
Police had led a search to find the man in the area from East Burnside Street to Northeast Glisan Street and from Northeast 99th Avenue to 100th Avenue.
Authorities have not shared why the man was wanted in the first place.
