The idea to launch a global effort to an alternative way of working took off after a successful experiment at New Zealand-based company Perpetual Guardian launched by Charlotte Lockhart and Andrew Barnes. They then established 4 Day Week Global, a not-for-profit community, as a platform to take it forward.
