I make apple turnovers in my air fryer – you need 3 ingredients & they cook in 7 minutes
A FOODIE influencer shared her simple air fryer apple turnover recipe and people could not wait to give it a go.
Laura Nightingale, who gives her baking tips on Instagram as @cakeontherun, uploaded a step by step video to make the delicious sweet pastry.
The straight forward recipe can be done using the fashionable air fryer and uses just three ingredients.
The simple to make treat takes just seven minutes to cook up in the air fryer.
To make enough for two, you’ll need; one apple, a sheet of ready roll puff pastry and four tablespoons of custard.
Start by slicing the pastry into two squares and dolloping two tablespoons of custard into the middle of each.
Next slice the apple and top the custard with the fruit.
Fold over the corners of the pastry to create an open parcel around the filling and pinch the sides to seal it in place.

The foodie suggested you may then want to sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon over the top for extra flavour.
Finally she air fried the parcels for seven minutes on 200 degrees.
Once the pastry is golden brown, it’s time to serve them up.
Instagrammers were quick to comment on the deliciously simple recipe.
