I have a tummy & wear bikinis – I don’t care what people say, ‘there’s nothing wrong with my body’
A PLUS-SIZE woman has shown other ladies her shape and size that they can rock a bikini just as well as their skinnier sisters.
Her post has inspired other women to stop covering up and get those swimsuits out and take up space.
Instagrammer Laetitia De Carufel’s recent post was a celebration of the fuller body.
In it, she appeared modeling a number of different swimsuits and two-pieces in different styles and colors.
In each shot, this woman oozed body positivity and it was infectious.
She began her post with a statement.
Laetitia wore a scalloped navy blue bikini top and bottom and asserted: “There is nothing wrong with my body. Fat is not a dirty word.”
Smiling broadly into the camera, this time in a luscious red swimsuit, she continued: “If my body tells me something, I will make sure it is heard.”
The bikini changes continued, as she said: “If my body is a vessel, I will give it what it needs.”
This feisty woman finished her post in a winning bronze two-piece and said: “I will not betray my body no matter what you think of me.”
There was a huge response to her post, with over 21,000 likes.
Comments were quick to share the impact her post had on them.
