[Softball] Shawnee State Strikes Late; Defeats Softball in Series Closer

COLUMBIA, Ky. – At Marilyn D. Sparks Park, the visiting Bears of Shawnee State University plated three runs in the top half of the seventh inning to pull away and ultimately defeat the Lindsey Wilson softball team, 6-3, in their series finale.

After the Blue Raiders had methodically crawled back to tie the game at 3-3, it was the road team striking again for another late-game push. In all, Shawnee State wound up outscoring Lindsey Wilson 11-6 in the sixth and seventh innings of this weekend's slate.
