GUN dog Orca shoots to the top of the dog world — winning Best in Show at Crufts.
Owner Javier Gonzalez Mendikote, of Croatia, posed with the Lagotto Romagnolo at the judging table at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
The Real Thing vocalist Chris Amoo’s dog was also among the winners.
The hound, named Paris, won its Best in Group competition and had a spot in the Best in Show finale.
Paris is a five-year-old Irish Wolfhound – the biggest of all breeds of dog – and was described by Mr Amoo as ‘very special’ and ‘one in a million’.
Over 19,000 dogs competed over three days for one of just seven places in the Crufts final and a chance to win the most celebrated title in the world of hounds.
The competition, which has been running since 1928, is split into seven different categories over four days.
There is certain criteria your dog must reach to be entered into the legendary event including being Kennel Club registered meaning a record of your puppy’s birth.
Owners receive Registration Certificate with a micro chip number and DNA tests for the dog.
