Amanda Owen sparks mum-shaming row with pics of daughters playing by icy river
AMANDA Owen has sparked a mum-shaming row with pictures of her daughters playing near an icing river.
The TV presenter, 48, posted snaps of her children playing as the UK continues to face a cold snap.
However, the Yorkshire Shepherdess was slammed by a number of her followers.
She was shamed for allowing the children to get so close to the river as her followers warned her it was dangerous.
One said: “Safety first,” while another commented: “Don’t go on the ice kids!”
“Do not walk on ice. [Amanda] is a public figure and her kids can help save lives by giving good advice,” said a third.
But a number of fans were quick to defend the Our Yorkshire Farm star.
One hit back saying: “Amanda knows where the girls are safe. She would not let them go where it wasn’t safe.”
A second said: “It isn’t Amanda’s responsibility to look after other people’s kids.”
“She would not put her children in danger,” added a third.
Meanwhile, Amanda recently left her fans shocked after posting bloody pictures from a ‘stressful’ experience on her farm.
She revealed one of her cows was calving, and it didn’t go quite as smoothly as the Yorkshire Shepherdess was hoping.
Taking to Instagram, Amanda revealed that she had to call out a local vet to assist with the birth of the baby.
While the calf was safely delivered, Amanda shared one image of a bloody utensil that left some fans shocked.
