Escape to the Chateau’s Dick and Angel Strawbridge mark epic career milestone with rare family pic
ESCAPE to the Chateau’s Dick and Angel Strawbridge marked an epic career milestone with a rare family picture.
The Channel 4 show came to an end in December last year after six years.
Escape to the Chateau fans are gutted not to get to see the goings on at the Strawbridge’s stunning property any more, but the couple do still keep them up to date via social media.
In their latest post, the couple shared a snap with their children Arthur and Dorothy in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge after weeks of touring Down Under.
With the Aussie city’s famous Opera House also in the background, the family smiled happily in their supper attire.
The picture was captioned: “We can’t quite believe that today was the last show of Dick and Angel’s Australia and New Zealand Tour!
“The last month has absolutely flown by and Dick and Angel have loved meeting so many of you.
“If you’d like to catch-up on what they got up to, they’re sharing all of their behind-the-scenes adventures with us on Filmed by the Strawbridges.”
Their fans immediately took to the comments section, with one writing: “So pleased you visited our country. Was brilliant to see your Perth show and to meet you afterwards. You were all very generous with your time despite it being late.
“Keep doing what you do, you bring much happiness and inspire us to live life to the fullest, be courageous and make our dreams reality xx.”
Another added: “Beautiful family photo strawbridge family have a wonderful time away as we are under snow.”
A third wrote: “Absolutely fabulous meeting you both in Brisbane. Hoping to visit your area and get a glimpse of your beautiful chateau around April 2024. Safe travels home Strawbridge Family and thank you for a fabulous show.”
Meanwhile a fourth commented: “We have absolutely loved having you and hope that you will return again some time. Safe travels back home.”
