Astronomer captures moment asteroid smashes into the Moon and leaves 40-foot crater

Daichi Fujii witnessed the cosmic collision as he was studying the surface of the Moon, and he says the crater it left will sooner or later be imaged by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter
