“The talks have failed and so we are going on an indefinite strike from midnight; 18 lakh employees, including government and semi government employees, hospital staff and sanitation workers would take part in the strike,” said Vishwas Katkar of the Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Madhyavarti Sanghatana, an umbrella body of state government employee unions.
