Hornets 14 v 26 Luctonians
Saturday 11th March at The Nest
The hosts looked to present a significant test at their Weston-Super-Mare ground, because their home form belied their 10th place standing in the division. Already this season they had pushed Clifton (2nd) and Dings (3rd) to within a score at their place; beaten Loughborough Students (8th) and, more recently, beaten 4th placed Hinckley only two weeks before. They had the highest number of losing bonus points in the division, meaning they were a side usually in their games and would present a really stern test of whether our boys could convert their current high standing into a top-four position come the end of the year.
