I have big boobs – I can go braless with my Lululemon top trick, my mom had doubts but I proved her wrong
DRESSING with a big bust can be tricky, but full-figured shoppers know the perfect piece of clothing is always just around the corner.
One woman was thrilled with her thrift store find – even more so when the magic top proved her mom wrong.
While out shopping with her mother, Chloe Domecq (@chloedomecqq) stumbled upon a shirt in a secondhand store.
The tank top was from a well-known brand, Domecq said in a video about the experience, but one factor posed a potential issue.
“I think it’s very obvious that I’m not a size small or extra-small,” Domecq said at the start of the video.
Generally, she wears a size eight or a 10, and has to account for her larger bust size when she shops.
“I’ve been that way my whole life,” Domecq explained. “It’s something I struggle with every day.”
Since Domecq lives in Sedona, Arizona, she’s around mountains, trails, and other gorgeous natural wonders.
“I hike, I climb, and a lot of the time, the bras I wear don’t let me breathe,” she said.
In fact, she’s considered getting a breast reduction to avoid activewear that “literally restricts [her] breathing.”
“I think about removing them a lot of the time because I have a very active lifestyle.,” she admitted.
But every once in a while, Domecq discovers a new wardrobe staple that alleviates that stress.
“It’s moments like this that keep me in the game,” she said with a grin.
At a Goodwill thrift store in Sedona, Domecq found a “lovely Lululemon piece.”
It was love at first sight when she spotted the tie-dye tank top.
“I was with my mom and we checked the size,” she said.
What they found made her mom skeptical. “She said, ‘You can’t get that, it’s an extra-small.'” Domecq recalled.
“I said, ‘Watch this.'”
Taking a step back, Domecq revealed her full body in the mirror. The Lululemon tank top was a perfect fit.
“An extra-small literally gave me the support to go braless,” she explained.
Fellow big-chested women may find the perfect clothes for their active lifestyles if they’re willing to look in the “wrong” section of the store, she said.
“If the material is stretchy enough, just try sizing down,” Domecq recommended. “Trust me.”
