A massive fire broke out at a chemical trading unit in Vapi GIDC in Valsad district on Tuesday evening. The fire that started at about 5.30 pm continued till late in the night on Tuesday. No casualties were reported from the site, said fire officials. The fire spread to two neighbouring manufacturing units — one making packaging material and the other making electrical fitting.
