Red Nose Day fans all have the same complaint about AJ Odudu’s skintight red PVC dress
RED Nose Day fans have hit out and branded host AJ Odudu’s red PVC dress “inappropriate” for family viewing.
The TV presenter, 35, opened this year’s live charity extravaganza in the skintight number with a pair of sky-high red heels.
But with coverage of the show kicking off at 7pm on the BBC, her sizzling choice of frock has not gone down well with everyone.
Taking to Twitter, some viewers complained that the sexy dress was not suitable for younger eyes.
One tweeted: “Shocked at the red pvc dress at 7.30pm not quite a family viewing outfit #comicrelief #bbc.”
Another chimed in: “Did AJ get her dress from the Anne Summers closing down sale? It’s so tight she can’t even uncross her legs. Totes inappropriate for family TV #ComicRelief.”
And someone else exclaimed: “Jeepers I’m no prude but just put on #comicrelief & AJ Odydu’s skin tight red latex dress is TOTALLY unsuitable for kids watching the show.”
AJ opened this year’s Comic Relief alongside The Masked Singer’s Joel Dommett and Doctor Who‘s David Tennant.
At 8.30pm, AJ and Joel bowed out and made way for Zoe Ball and Paddy McGuinness.
But before she waved goodbye, the former Strictly Come Dancing star did receive some compliments too.
One fan gushed: “I’m only here for AJ in that dress!#ComicRelief.”
Someone else added: “AJ looks amazingggg in that red dress #comicrelief.”
AJ’s dress wasn’t the only thing to spark debate among viewers of the televised charity fundraiser.
A technical blunder meant that the first few minutes of Comic Relief kicked off on BBC Two, rather than BBC One.
Rather than seeing Sir Lenny Henry regenerate into David Tennant in the opening sketch, they saw footage from Saving Lives At Sea, which was airing on the sister channel at the same time.
