Documentary 'Make All Our Voices Count' shows work of Loop with communities in crisis.
Humanitarian charity Talk To Loop has released a short film about its work in communities in Somalia and The Philippines.
The film, titled Make All Our Voices Count: a film about Loop in communities focuses on how Loop's creation of an independent, technology-based feedback system enables people in some of the world's most vulnerable communities to have their voices heard by giving feedback about the humanitarian services they receive.
Featuring local participants, and shot by local film-makers without the need for international travel, the eight minute film shows the empowering impact of Loop's technology on two very different communities in crisis.
In the Philippines, in the wake of Typhoon Odette, communities used Loop to send messages asking for assistance, which Loop was then able to broker through local NGOs including Ecoweb.
In Somalia, in the long, slow crisis of drought, the Loop feedback platform allows people in refugee camps to explain their needs to the aid agencies supporting the camps.
The film, produced by Out Of Office films and Fairpicture in association with Loop, can be seen on the charity's website at www.talktoloop.org or its YouTube channel.
