Asian music and media company 88rising and Los Angeles-based concert producer Goldenvoice have announced dates for the 5th annual Head in the Clouds art, hip-hop and dance festival.
The show will return to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Aug. 5-6.
This announcement follows news that 88 Rising is expanding its Head in the Clouds brand and taking it to New York for the first time May 20-21. Head in the Clouds made its debut in 2018 and has since then been one of the leading voices when it comes to amplifying Asian talent and culture. Though the 2023 lineup has yet to be revealed, each year it has represented newcomers and big names in the Asian and Asian American music circuit, with headliners like Joji, Rich Brian, Audrey Nuna, Deb Never, Japanese Breakfast, Beabadoobee and Luna Li.

Fans can register now for pre-sale passes by signing up with a valid phone number and email at hitcfestival.com. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24.
Head in the Clouds will also donate $1 for each pass sold to benefit Inner-City Arts, a Los Angeles nonprofit that ensures access to art instruction for students in grades K-12. In addition, the program provides art workshops for educators and welcomes the vast community to participate in its campus by Skid Row.
