I’m a trendy mum and run, don’t walk, to Sainsbury’s – I got my daughter the cutest outfits from a quid each
A MUM has encouraged fellow parents to head to Sainsbury’s to check out their kids’ clothing section, telling them that they won’t regret it.
And there’s good reason, as mum-of-one Chloe Pearce revealed she’d bagged three outfits for her little girl – and items started at just £1.
Chloe Pearce, who is mum to a tot called Tilly, couldn’t believe her eyes when she browsed the rails of her local supermarket store to find they had a mega sale in the children’s department.
And when she got home from her mother and daughter shopping trip, she couldn’t wait to tell her 43.4k followers all about it.
She explained: “We’ve just got back from Sainsbury’s and I had to show you these.”
Chloe, whose TikTok profile is @chloepearce11, then proudly held up her purchases to the camera.
First, she showed a three-pack of long-sleeved pastel coloured T-shirts that were highly discounted and came to just £1 each.
She explained: “[It was] 70% off – so I got these tops for £3.”
But there was better to come when she picked up a three pack of leggings in a similar colour palette – grey, pink and yellow – for a jaw-dropping 90p for each one.
Chloe continued: “And then I got this pack of leggings for £2.70.”
While the social media user explained that the leggings wouldn’t fit her daughter just yet, she said she had no doubt they were a great investment for the future.
She revealed: “These are slightly big, these are 12-18 months.
“But I thought for £2.70 for 3 leggings, I will definitely be buying those.”
She also sang the shop’s praises in the caption alongside the video.
Chloe wrote: “Mum’s run, don’t walk to Sainsbury’s!!”
And the fashionista said that her only regret was that she wasn’t able to pick up more bargain buys.
She said: “If only they had more of Tilly’s size.”
Fellow parents were blown away by the cheap prices and what she’d got for her money.
One wrote: “Wow, that’s good!”
As a second summed up everyone’s thoughts when they commented: “Bargain.”
