Report: When Tottenham are expected to finalise Conte decision by

Sky Sports have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make a decision on Antonio Conte’s future by this evening (Wednesday).

The report explains that the players and staff got two days off before reporting to Hotspur Way on Tuesday, which would have been the case regardless of the result on Saturday.

The vast majority of the Spurs squad are away on international duty, which means that Conte and his coaching staff will have only a few first-team players to work with at the training ground this week.

Sky Sports claim that there is now a ‘growing sense’ at the club that the Italian can no longer continue, with a final decision on the Tottenham head coach’s future expected today.

The report adds that sources close to Conte insist that the 53-year-old did not speak out in the manner that he did on Saturday in order to get sacked nor did he intend to attack the players, with his comments instead reflecting what he has felt for a long time.

All indications are that Tottenham will announce Conte’s departure within the next 24 to 48 hours.

I personally do not think there is any chance of the Italian being in charge of the Everton game as it is now clear that he has lost the dressing room.
